if I could do it over again... I'd consider this option.
ok I'd never actually be this bold but I can't help but smile and wish I was!
Chris did this in a friend's wedding but it was their entrance to the reception. Anyone who knows my husband knows that he was more than happy to oblige for the sake of fun but was DYING of embarassment on the inside ;o) he's not one to enjoy the center of attention.
this is what I call a wedding CELEBRATION!

yes, it's ridiculous

how long it has been since I posted, that is.
We just got back from a week in Colorado. At least that is a good excuse for one of the many weeks without blog posts. A lot has been going on. Mainly I've been really busy working and this little space on the web takes a back seat unfortunately.
Cohen is 8 months old now. A milestone that occurred while we were on vacation. On that same day, my sister turned 28! If I really had my act together I would have pre-arranged a happy birthday to auto-post on Monday. But I obviously do NOT have my act together. I could have been the first person to call her on her big day though because I was up at 4:30 am mountain time. I spared her. My son did not spare me. He woke up before dawn every. single. morning.
booger.
That aside, the trip was marvelous. Here are some photos.

7 months
So much to say and so little time. We've been busy around here.
This is Cohen's 7 month photo. He's sitting up on his own now so well! He's not crawling but I'm really fine with that because a. my floors are dirty and b. NOTHING in this house is baby-proofed.
He's so much fun~ this is what he does when you clap and act excited that he picked up the fruit puff and made it into his mouth successfully! This accompanied by an excessively loud squeal! Excuse the peach residue, but I thought they were too sweet not to share.

As I mentioned before, my parents were here last week and Mom helped me learn to sew a little. We made a really cute apron, I DID make the camera strap cover and I'm working now on a plush fabric book for Cohen. I've had a lot of fun doing it and I hope I can keep getting better. Pictures to come...
My friend Lindsey came over last week to take some pictures of Cohen for us. Only problem. No nap. She, however, still managed to get some great shots and we're planning to get together again when the wee one is in better spirits. IN ALL HONESTY, that was the ONLY time I've ever not been able to make him smile. He gave us na-da.

more later but duty calls...
