6 months and 29 years

Yes you read that correctly. In addition to my great mom, this week my boys both have special days too!

Wednesday, as I mentioned before, Cohen turned 6 months old. Here is the photo in the glider that I've taken each month (except last month... sigh) Where did my baby go? He looks especially little-boy-like in this picture. I love you with my whole heart sweet boy!

He weighs 18 lbs. and 14 oz. Compare to 2 months and 3 months and 4 months

AND Chris turns 29 years old Friday. Happy Birthday to my true love!! I'm so grateful to be celebrating another birthday with you. Thank you, Chris, for being everything I want and more than I deserve!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MAMA!!

On this fantastic day just a couple of years ago my mom was born! What a wonderful person! She's ALWAYS thinking of others before herself but today is HER DAY and I hope it's a great one. Leave her a message in the comments if you will. She's on a camping trip with Dad this week to celebrate but she's super tech-savvy and has her little iPhone with her so I'm sure she will be checking in.

It was a sad night and it seems this morning as though it was all a bad dream. It wasn't but I read this scripture earlier and was reminded that our Lord is the ONLY sure and unfailing thing in my life. Please continue to pray for Micah's family and friends. Whitney is brokenhearted and very confused. As a big sister I ask that you would please pray on her behalf specifically. 

God is our refuge and strength, 
       an ever-present help in trouble.

Prayers for Micah

Hey everyone. Please pray for my sister's sweet friend Micah Pate. She went running last night and now is missing. My heart is TORN for Whitney as well as all of Micah's other friends and family! This hits way to close to home, it could just as easily be any one of us. PLEASE pray for Micah, that they would find her well and for her family, husband and friends as they all endure this incredibly difficult time. I will update as I know more but here is the news story that may be updated before I can.
