On another food related topic, anyone out there have any great recipes for toddlers? Cohen will eat a really good variety of foods so I'd like to get some new ideas for dinner and snacks. If you have had success with quick healthy meals for your kiddies, help a sister out.
On to hair accessories... I've been wanting a feathery headband with a little "flare" for a while now. Can't find the right one though. Large enough to compete with my huge head of hair, yet small enough to be office friendly and not scare away co-workers. Do I get color or stay with black and be a little more conservative? Go with the ACTUAL headband or just less intrusive clips? Here are some options but if you've seen a good one, let me know. And cheap too because let's be honest, they're a total flash in the pan.
And because he OCCASIONALLY checks this blog, I'm giving props to my man, who planned a terrific 30th birthday celebration for me. It spanned 2 weekends. One being a lovely date to dinner and a performance of the Nutcracker ballet at the brand new Winspear Opera house. With the second weekend consisting of Christmas parade with my boys, trip to the Dallas Aquarium wrapped up by a night on the town to my favorite restaurant and a Christmas lights tour bus with 14 of my nearest and dearest! he planned it all... even got the babysitter ;o)

first--i am just loving that the husbands both somehow had this brilliant idea to get a bus for all the friends!! N planned my 30th birthday party--it was a surprise--and a bus pulled around the corner, honking, and i just about fell out!! it was a hoot--but SO SO fun! way to go chris!!
anthro is your place for hair clips--i just got a few there. they even have a feather one. my tiny, thin hair wasn't suited for it. but you could totally look fab in it!! i got some with flowers. and i love them! it takes jeans, and white tank to a new level!!

Kudos to Chris for a job well done for your birthday. Feather headbands - Etsy.com has a bagillion ideas and the always good fall-back is Forever21. Miss ya lots.
